'Dancing Embers' (Teresa Martin, R. 1969). Seedling 66-17. TB, 36-40", Midseason bloom. Color Class-O5D, Brilliant blended gold, brown and red; orangy bronze beard. Seedling 107-64: ('Mary Randall' x 'Court Ballet') X seedling 164-64: ('Bang' x 'Tomeco'). Martin 1971.

From AIS Bulletin #201 April 1971 Introducing DANCING EMBERS. TB. 36-40". M. 05D. A very bright henna or orange-tan, deep and glowing. It has form, substance, branching, vigor and - WOW - coloring we all like. This iris has performed well in California and in New Jersey, as in Ohio. From a raspberry seedling (Mary Randall x Court Ballet) X (Bang x Tomeco). $25.00. Tesesa Martin.
