2017, Keppel

'Desert Trails' (Keith Keppel, R. 2016) Seedling 07-184C. TB, 36" (91 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards colonial buff (M&P 10-G-2) to lighter marguerite yellow (10-C-1) center, finely dotted pale dove grey (45-B-1); style arm crests quince yellow (11-L-3); falls citron yellow (10-J-2) ground, some white ground at hafts, dark greyed purple (48-L-11) edge and haft; beard hairs based white, tips bronzed yellow. Sibling to 'Barbados'. Keppel 2017.

From Keith Keppel Iris catalog, 2017: DESERT TRAILS ML 36” (sib to Barbados) #07-184C. Quince yellow style arms peek out from between the buff to light marguerite yellow standards with fine pale dove grey dotting. Falls citron yellow, a bit of white on the hafts, with dark greyed purple plicata tracks on borders and hafts. Beards bronze yellow. Good stems, with terminal and three branches, up to 9-10 buds. $50.00.
