From Tempo Two catalog, 2016: DEVIL BY NIGHT (Blyth 2016) M 36”. Coming from a strong plicata breeding line, though it is not a plicata. It is this very dark spectacular Iris.The standards are rich reddish purple, deepening towards the outside and falls are velvety red black, fnished off with bronze black beards.Wide and lightly ruffed blooms on strong show stems. It will give plicata seedlings when crossed with any plicata. (Reckless Abandon X (Keppel 06-7A: Cotillion Gown sib). Sdlg No V149-2. $60.00. |
