1973, Galer

'Diamond Lights' (George Galer, R. 1972). Seedling 66-187-4. TB, 32-35" (81-89 cm), Midseason late bloom. Standards antique gold with rosy diffusion at base; rose infusion in back of gold style crests; falls plum red with blue-violet wash on upper portion, electric blue blaze below yellow gold beard; brown overlay shading to 1/4" brown rim; slightly fluted. 'Rusticana' X Tompkins seedling 63-161: ('Sudden Spring' x 'Camelot Rose'). Galer 1973.

Note: Hybridizer corrected registaration date from 1971 to 1972. AIS Bulletin #208, January 1972.
