From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: EDITH POPE (Buss 1955) M. 45 in. (Spanish Peaks x Vista Veronica). An extra large flower, this has fluted petals, well domed standards and semi-flaring falls. The coJor is pure white even to the beard and there are no markings of any other color. The stalks are strong, tall and well-branched showing off 1he magnificent flowers to good advantage. l5.00.
From Edenwald Gardens catalog, 1957: EDITH POPE (Buss '55) M.45". Superlative all-white of large proportions and perfect form, beautifully poised on tall, strong stems. A clean, pure white even to the beard with no bluish or yellow tint or venation, setting new standards of excellence for white iris. Winter hardy and vigorous. $9.00
