'Enchanted Cloud' (Rex Brown, R. 1970). Seedling 64-84-8. TB, 40" (102 cm), Late midseason bloom. Ruffled icy white; blue-white beard. 'Seafair Ballet' X seedling 60-32-3 light blue: ('Eleanor's Pride' x blue seedling: ('Snow Flurry' x ('Helen McGregor' x 'Chivalry'))). Brown's Iris Gdns 1971. High Commendation 1970; Honorable Mention 1972.

From AIS Bulletin #201 April 1971 Introducing ENCHANTED CLOUD. 40". ML. Beautifully formed icy white with blue-white beard. Ruffled and flared, extra heavy substance, excellent four-way branching with 10-12 buds. No. 64-84-8 (Seafair Ballet X light blue sister of Silver Wedding). HC '70. $25.00. Brown's Iris Garden.
Enchanted Cloud: An old, but reliable, strong-stalked, tailored and neat white which is vigorous here[New York]. It has outlasted many newer whites which languish in the East. (AIS Bulletin, July 1983, p 25).
