Standards very dark wine-purple, lighter toward biscuit edges; style arms biscuit; falls very dark wine-purple-black velvet overlay, biscuit dotting in throat to shoulders; beards yellow. Parentage unknown. Bay View 2016.

From Bay View Gardens catalog, 2016: EXPLODING GALAXY, 30 inches, EM.The darkest luminata around: Very dark wine-purple with a black velvet overlay on the falls. The petal edges are biscuit and nicely ruffled. Light yellow dotting from the throat to the shoulders. The styles are also biscuit with bright yellow beards that stand out like beacons in the night. Wavy ruffling with purple tinted well branched stalks. U10-X3, Unknown but from planned crosses. $50.00 |
