'Flash Of Light' (Thomas Johnson, R. 2008). Seedling Tx49B. TB, 36" (91 cm), Late bloom. Standards white, hint of blue surround; style arms white, crests tipped gold; falls dark blue, large white blaze around bright gold-yellow beard; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. 'Snowed In' X 'Queen's Circle'. Mid-America 2008. Honorable Mention 2010.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2008: flash of light (T.Johnson 08) TB Late 36” (91 cm). From the centers of dark blue falls comes a blazing flash of white light. Ruffled white standards have just a hint of blue around them. Dark violet-blue falls shade inward to dazzling white sunbursts illuminated by bright gold yellow beards. Super show branching and double budded sockets in a color & pattern normally shy of buds. Makes very showy clumps. Vigorous healthy growth. Sdlg. TX49B: Snowed In X Queen’s Circle. $50.00.
