From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1957: FRONT PAGE (Kleinsorge 1955) Each 10.00. A hybridizer's achievement such as this is front page news indeed. The ground color and the beard are deep red-gold, lightening to near white toward the center area of the falls. There is some ruffling and fluting in the tightly arched dome of the standards while the falls are semi-flaring and lightly ruffled. The blooms are set close on 3 to 3-1/2 foot stems. |
