'Frosty Jewels' (James Burch, R. 1977). Seedling# 73-4A. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards light pink (RHS 38C); falls pale pink (38D); bright red beard. 'Pink Taffeta' X 'Point Clear'. Burch 1979. High Commendation 1979. President's Cup 1979; Favorite Guest Iris 1979; Honorable Mention 1981; Favorite Guest Iris 1982; Award of Merit 1983.

From AIS Bulletin #232 Winter 1979 Introducing FROSTY JEWELS (Burch). TB, 36", M-L (73-4A). This lacy, light pink (RHS 38C/D) jewel is gorgeous with its light coloring, deepening at the junction of the red beard and the standards, falls and stylearms. Frosty Jewels is heavily substanced and is weather resistant. It has 3 branches plus terminal with 8-10 buds. (Pink Taffeta X Point Clear). $25.00. Burch Iris Gardens.
