- TB Gentle Rain was blooming at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, zone 4b, approximately May 25 - June 4, in 2017. I didn't notice any Purple Based Foliage at the base of the leaves, but the spathes did have purple on them. -- HollyJohnson2017 -04-01 - 24 Aug 2017
