From Tell’s Iris Garden catalog, 1947: GOLD RUFFLES 44-110 Muhlestein (Mary Rich Lyon x Midwest Gem). Very large, extremely ruffled flowers. Some inconspicuous cinnamon reticulations on the haft slightly detract from its ruffled yellow beauty, but everyone seems to want Gold Ruffles. It should prove a valuable parent. Midseason to late. Height 36 inches. $15.00 |
