From Melrose Gardens catalog, 1968: GOLDEN BONANZA (Ben R. Hager '68) 34"Midseason to early ((Molten x Argus Pheasant) X AI Borak)) .A brazen color of burnished, brassy gold, flashing and fulgent. Broad petaled, oversized flowers have closed standards and flaring falls lightly fluted. Stem is sturdy and well branched. We have held this seedling in hopes it would get taller. In areas where its parents are taller it undoubtedly will be so, but here all three parents are short. $15.00
