From AIS Bulletin #260 January 1986 Introducing HOWDY DO (Byers 'S6) Sdlg. A-0-3: Actress X Sky Hooks. TB, 35", E-L. Silverwhite with faint yellow glow at hafts and bushy blue-white beards heavily tipped cadmium orange; blue horns. Perky personable flowers that are ruffled. Domed standards and very flared falls, but the hafts aren't as wide as one could wish. The strongest of all, it's growing in several parts of the country including very cold winter areas and is performing super well everywhere. Multiple show stalks 6-S buds, loads of increases. Fragrant at times. An excellent parent. $25.00. Moonshine Gardens. |
