From Indian Spring Farms catalog, 1927: M. BRUN (Denis 1920). A large Ricardi Seedling of very uncommon coloring. S. argeratum-blue, shaded with brown; F. light purple, shaded brown and heavily reticulated brown on a white ground at the haft. The flowers are large and well formed, and the stems well branched. 36 inches. In these Ricardi Seedlings, Mme. Durrand and M. Brun, we have colorings that are distinct and beautiful and they are well worth the extra care required to grow them successfully. $7.50 each. |
