2014, Nicodemus

'Midnight Embers' (Barbara Nicodemus, R. 2013). Seedling# J78A. TB, 32" (81 cm), Early midseason to midseason bloom. Standards cherry-black, fluted; style arms same, green-yellow outer and lower midrib, lighter stigmatic lip; falls cherry-black, few inconspicuous striations, velvety; beards gold deep in throat, burnt brown in middle, cherry-black end; pronounced fragrance; ruffled. 'Hello Darkness' X 'Epicenter'. Rockytop Gardens 2014.
