Awaiting original catalog description |
The Garden p.291, 1911 notes:"Iris variegata Miss Eardley. – The standards are of rich golden yellow, the falls heavily laden with crimson and distinctly bordered yellow. These came from Mr. Amos Perry, Enfield." |
|
From Bonnewitz catalog, 1923/24: MISS EARDLEY (Perry) $1.00. I have not a large stock of this variety, but it is almost as pleasing in appearance as Dalila, although it is altogether different in color, it is not large like Ambassadeur and Prospero, but I believe its gold and yellow and madder crimson colors will please. |
