From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1936: "An indescribable medley of fawn and old gold, equally suffused in standards, and the falls entirely overlaid with varying shades of violet. Novel in shape as well as in color; a blend of pastel tints that invites close inspection. Very late, medium in size, thirty inches tall."
