Steve Varner, R. 1985). Seedling# 3205. TB, 34" (86 cm). Midseason bloom. Heavily laced beige light grape, edged beige flesh, top half of falls veined deep red grape with medium deep grape overlay on bottom half; tangerine carmine beard.

From AIS Bulletin #265 April 1987 Introducing MUSKRAT RAMBLE-TB #3205: (Sunday Chimes X Queen In Calico), 34", M, 5" x 6" ruffled blooms, 8 buds, 3 branches. All parts very laced. All edges are beige flesh. Named for my favorite Dixieland jazz song. A cerise bearded fancy from brown plicata and pink breeding. Beige light red grape stds. Deep red grape veins are prominent on top half of beige light grape falls. Bottom half is overlaid medium deep grape. Unique! $30.00. Illini Iris. |
