From Milliken Iris Gardens catalog, 1948: OPERA CAPE (Milliken) If this variety is well grown it produces exceptionally large shapely flowers of a deep blue-violet. They are so sumptuous that they make a wonderful companion for pale yellows, huffy yellows, or peachy toned varieties. Chrysolite, Arctic, Sunset Cloud, Melitza and Remembrance are some of the varieties which come to mind for companionship. 2-1/2 feet. $3.50; 3 for $9.00. |
