'Orange Festival' (Rex Brown, R. 1970). Seedling# 64-20-23. TB, 38" (97 cm), Late midseason bloom. Standards laced orange-buff (507/1); falls ruffled and laced orange-buff, slightly lighter in center; saturn red beard. 'Exotic Buff' X 'Chinese Coral'. Brown's Iris 1971.

From AIS Bulletin #201 April 1971 Introducing ORANGE FESTIVAL. 38". ML. A large, ruffled, laced bright orange-buff slightly lighter in the center of the falls. The bushy beard is bright saturn red. Heavy substance; three and four branches with 8-10 buds. No. 64-20-23 (Exotic Buff X Chinese Coral). $25.00. Brown's Iris Garden.
