From Treholme Iris Garden catalog 1931: Oregon Beauty (Kleinsorge 1930) M. S. 38". S. aconite-violet; F. velvety, cotinga purple, lighter at edge and at mid-rib; prominent bright yellow beard. A very large, attractive flower, on strong, branched stalks.
From Maple Valley Iris Gardens catalog, 1933: OREGON BEAUTY (Klein. 1930) Standards aconite violet; Falls bright velvety purple, brighter at edge, Well branched. 40 incbes. $1.00.
