Carl Salbach, R. 1952). Seedling #42-45B. TB, 30" (76 cm). Midseason bloom. Color Class-!R3, Red bitone, of mahogany-red and mahogany-brown, violet-blue blaze; orange-yellow beard. Received an Honorable Mention in 1952 under unapproved name of
'Oriental Splendor'(1939), which belongs to
Mrs. Mary Tharp and is not released. "Flaming Amber" x seedling of
'Sultan's Robe'.
NOTE: 'Flaming Amber' in above registration does not exist in any of the checklists.
