<strong>'Pencil Sketch' </strong>( [[Main.Bio.HybridizerPloughGordon][Gordon Plough]], R. 1971). Seedling# 67-56-5. TB, 30" (76 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards greyed tones of barium yellow (503/1), practically solid color; falls same, lined with plicata markings radiating from beard giving effect of a pencil sketch; light violet area around orange beard. Seedling# 64-82-75: (involving [[TbFthruJ.TbJakarta]['Jakarta']] sibling, [[TbFthruJ.TbJaipur]['Jaipur']], [[TbKthruO.TbMyDarling]['My Darling']], [[TbAthruE.TbCopperHalo]['Copper Halo']]) X [[TbPthruT.TbPaintedWings]['Painted Wings']]. Eden Road 1972.

_Awards_: Honorable Mention 1973.
