From Bonnewitz catalog, 1927: PENDRAGON (Bliss) Dominion Seedling. “A typical Dominion-type Iris, one of the deepest colored varieties we have seen. The flowers are of extraordinarily stout substance and firm texture. The color is an almost uniform deep violet purple, blooms of large size, and fine form with flaring falls. Height about three feet, stems medium branched, a very strong grower”. This description is by Mr. Murrell of England. Only a few rhizomes this year. $12.50. |
