'Plicata Whisper' (Les Peterson, R. 1979). Seedling #LP 77-9-10. TB, 30" (76 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards pale silver-grey; falls lighter (almost white) ground with brown plicata markings and chartreuse undertone across haft to tip of bronze beard, 1/2" silver-grey border. Large, attractive, delicately colored plicata with standards of pale silver-gray; falls lighter (almost white) banded color of standards.
