| From Walter Marx Gardens catalog 1962: PRINCE OF MONACO (Kieinsorge 1956) Ea. 2.SO. Regal in both name and appearance. Standards are brilliant violet-blue and quite crinkled; while the falls are almost velvety in appearance and are a shiny deep violet-purple. Brown markings on haft and a yellow beard add to all around beauty of this tall iris. 43 inches.
