From AIS Bulletin #292 January 1994 Introducing QUEEN'S VIOLET (H. Shockey) T8 M 37". This is not just another blue-violet, violet-blue or violet-purple, but a pure spectrum violet (RHS 88B). Beautifully formed with broad, ruffled, classic semi-flaring falls with even color saturation throughout. Clean hafts and blue-violet beards colored down to the base. Hardy, fine plant habits, strong stalks, show-stalk branching, good bud count and flower substance--all contributing to making this a connoisseur's iris. $35.00. Arilian Acres. |
