From Milliken Iris Gardens catalog, 1940: REDGLOW (Essig) The falls of this stately iris are flaring and of a rich red velvet, set off by a golden beard. The standards are a somewhat paler shade of red harmonizing beautifully with the richness of the falls. It is a stunning thing and shows off to particular advantage when planted near some of the beautiful new yellows. 3 feet. 50c; 3 lor $1.00. |
