(TB) 'Ring Of Fire'

1975, Cupp

'Ring Of Fire' (Gladys Cupp, R. 1974). Seedling# Cup 6-X. TB, 40" (102 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards orange-butterscotch blend, red veining, ruffled; falls deep rich red with bright orange-yellow rim; orange beard surrounded with white to yellow spray. 'Son Of Star' X ('Cimarron Strip' x unknown). Cupp 1975.

From AIS Bulletin #218 July 1975 Introducing RING OF FIRE-TB, 40", ML. Reblooms here. Orange-butterscotch ruffled closed standards; dark red rippled falls with narrow edging of orange. Yellow and white spray around orange beards.Son of Star X (Cimarron Strip x unknown). $25.00. Gladys Cupp.
