1980, Peterson

'Rojo Advance' (Les Peterson, R. 1977). Seedling# LP 75-14B. TB, 30-32" (76-81 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Medium dark red (HCC 822) with slight blackish overlay and shadow of medium brown at hafts; lightly ruffled falls; deep bronze beard. Seedling# LP 73-73B: ('Seeing Red' x (Ardi Loy' x ('Negrura' x 'Tantallon'))) X seedling# LP 62-162: ('Main Event' x seedling# LP 59-3). Peterson 1980.

From AIS Bulletin #237 April 1980 Introducing ROJO ADVANCE-TB, 30-32" (76-81 em), ML. Large, medium dark red self (RHS 822) with slight blackish overlay and shadow of medium brown at hafts. Lightly ruffled flower, deep bronze beard. Bud count (8-9) and branching fine. (Seeing Red x (Ardi Loy x (Negrura x Tantallon))) X LP 62-162 (Main Event x LP59-3). HC '79. $25.00. Les Peterson.
