'Rosecraft' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1986). Seedling# 78-22A. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Ruffled raspberry violet, lighter area surrounding beard; cerise beard tipped violet. 'Lilac Flame' X seedling# 76-32A: (seedling# 73-28E: ('Sunday Chimes' x ('Country Lilac' x 'Fashion Fling')) x 'Pretty Karen'). Mission Bell 1986. High Commendation 1985; Honorable Mention 1988.

"Melba Hamblen's ROSECRAFT ('86) was impressive as a rather muted version of her brilliant, very fine EXTRAVAGANT ('83). Wide, laced blossoms were well presented on shorter, thick stalks with two to three well-spaced branches."
