From Cape Iris Gardens catalog, 1980: SHADES OF AUTUMN (T. Gladish '81) Sdlg. 4-77: Conversation Piece X Autumn Leaves, TB, 34" (86 cm), Mid., RY5. This iris was a hit at Tulsa (after the Convention). The standards are very ruffled and buff in color with inflections of rust. The falls are rusty red and edged with a rim of buff. There is a streak of buff down the center which starts at the tip of the yellow beard. A very attractive iris that will draw visitors to it immediately. You will like the frilly autumn form. $25.00 |
