'Shaniko' (Duane Meek, R. 1983). Seedling# G22-1-7. TB, 35" (89 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Ruffled deep mahogany red; self beard tipped brown. 'Dark Velvet' X ('Post Time' x seedling# 76-1-9: (('Gay Tracery' x 'Witches' Brew') x 'War Lord')). D. & J. Gardens 1983.
