1976, Plough

'Showy Devil' (Gordon Plough, R. 1975). Seedling# 70-55-6. TB, 40" (102 cm), Early to late bloom. Standards rosy brown; falls red-brown over yellow background, long dark red stripe below dark orange beard. Seedling# 67-54-1: (involving 'Cayenne Capers', 'Copper Halo', 'Irma Melrose', 'Ladyslippers', 'Lemon Bowl', 'My Darling') X 'Tribal Dance'. Eden Road 1976.
