'Smoky Shadows' (
Richard Tasco, R. 2010). Seedling# 04-TB-23-13. TB, 34" (86 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards brownish-brick red (RHS 183B), slight old gold blush on lower midribs, very slight beech brown edge; style arms bright golden yellow side, slight reddish blush on ridge, brownish red crests; falls plush velvety dark cherry-black, more cherry with slightly darker veins around beard, slight yellow veining near back half of dark golden-bronze beard; heavily ruffled, medium purple base foliage; slight fragrance.
