'Mexico' X sdlg. 333A. Cooley 1951. Honorable Mention 1952.
From Cooley's Gardens catalog for 1951: "A swirling and ruffly affair in brilliant coppery yellow and vivid chestnut-red. Those familiar with the variety Mexico will recognize this as a lively improvement on that popular and distinct Iris. It is well illustrated on this page. Spanish Fandango is a rampant grower, easily reaching four feet, with plenty of good wide branching and lots of big frilled blossoms. All eyes will be upon it!"
