Standards 1/8" to 3/8" irregular marguerite yellow (M&P 10-C-1) edge blending to thistle (42-J-7), deepening in center to english violet (44-K-9); falls 1/8" marguerite edge, blended coronation (46-L-8) to velvety cyclamen (47-L-9) with paler veining, small white area by beards; beards golden poppy (9-L-12) to mikado (2-B-12), paler tip; pronounced sweet fragrance. From AIS Bulletin #292 January 1994 Introducing SPIRIT WORLD (Keppel) TB EM 36" (Mind Reader sib) Favorite Guest Iris (137 votes) at the 1993 National Convention in Texas. Medium reddish orchid standards with smoky-buff margins. Velvety red-purple falls with slightly lighter luminata veining, plus a narrower smoky buff-edge. Beards reddish-orange, sitting in an ivory circle. Strikingly different, with its dark petals and ghostly paler aura. Three branches and terminal, double sockets. #86-180. $40.00. Keith Keppel. |
