■(TB) 'Springtime Madonna'
(Carl S. Milliken
, R. 1949) TB. Midseason bloom. Color Class-W6M. Bronze seedling x 'The Missimo'
| From Milliken Gardens catalog, 1949: This iris is a symphony of cream and gold. The standards are very pale cream-yellow with a bright gold edging. The falls are ruffled and frilled and are the same pale yellow as the standards, but have much more gold at the edges and the reticulations are very bright gold giving the flower beautiful highlights. The standards are gracefully arched and ruffled. The fragrance is sweet, but not strong. The branching is very outstanding and offers almost unlimited possibilities in the field of flower arrangement. $15.
