From Longfield Iris Farms catalog, 1934: Sundipt (Wmsn. No. 1674, 1934). (292 X -). A tall glowing yellow of fine form with a certain flare to the S. and F. A flower of wonderful carrying power and great charm and grace in carriage. S. arching cupped, obovate, Pinard Yellow shading to Light Cadmium at base, no markings on claw. F. straight hanging, wedge-shaped, Pinard Yellow shading to Empire Yellow at haft. Haft: Empire Yellow with light golden brown veining. Style branches: Empire Yellow. Beard: Light Cadmium. Excellently branched stems 39 inches high with six flowers to a stalk. Flowers 4½ inches high and 4 inches wide. Vigorous. $8.00. |
