'Sunshine Lady' (
Walter Moores, R. 2004). Seedling 00-13-G. TB, height 34-36" (86-91 cm). Midseason late bloom. Standards white, edged yellow when opening; style arms white with yellow midrib; falls medium yellow with white hafts and midline; beards wide golden yellow; ruffled.

Hybridizer's comment: I have heard that some people don't know what a sunshine lady is. We had one in the Fort Worth Iris Society, whose job was to send out get well cards, birthday cards, sympathy cards. I wanted to name the iris for a particular sunshine lady from the FWIS, but she was too modest to have her name used so I just settled on 'Sunshine Lady.' [Walter Moores - 08 Jan 2010]
