From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing THICK AND CREAMY (Weiler '78). 73-50A-1. TB, 91 em. (36"), EE-M. This large creamy white flower with pale primrose beard is heavy substanced and prominently ruffled. Broad, domed standards above flaring falls stand out beautifully against healthy, dark green foliage. The stalk is exceptional, producing 4 or 5 branches and sometimes a spur plus the terminal. At least two buds in each socket averaging eleven flowers per stalk and with well-timed opening insure a long bloom season. The plant is a rampant grower, often producing more than one bloomstalk the first spring after planting and usually six or more increases. So early, it begins with the intermediates and continues to midseason of tall bearded varieties. Fertile both ways. Wedding Vow X (White King x New Moon). $25.00. Rialto Gardens.
