From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing TREVI FOUNTAIN (1978). Sdlg. 71-1-5. Elizabeth Stuart X Pink Fringe. Named because of the similarity to the color and elegance of that lovely fountain in Rome which we visited some time ago. The much ruffled standards are warm white flushed amber and are tightly closed. The wide, round falls are white with a fluted and crinkled 1/8th inch neat border of copper rust. The beards are orange to white at the tips. Strong, well-branched stalks carry double socketed buds, providing eight to ten flowers each. Vigorous grower and a rapid increaser. 34". $25.00. Bennett Jones. |
