'Tunisian Gold' (Chet Tompkins, R. 1946) TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Blend of golden brown and beige, red-brown haft. 'Flora Campbell' x 'Golden Spike'.

From Fleur de Lis Gardens catalog 1956: TUNISIAN GOLD (Tomp. 1947) M. 38 in. (Flora Campbell x Golden Spike). A massive, but exquisitely formed flower of gleaming golden brown and French beige. Brushed deeper chocolate at the haft. A fine breeder, this is parent of Escapade. 1.00.
