'Twilight Trail' (Marjorie Anderson, R. 1965). Seedling# 45-8. TB, 36" (91 cm). Late midseason bloom. Standards light lavender, smoky; falls smoky light steel violet-blue, bordered same as Standards; tan-gold hafts; beard yellow-gold. 'Grand Coulee' X 'Galilee'. Twin Gates 1966.

From AIS Bulletin #181 April 1966 Introducing TWILIGHT TRAIL. Sdlg. 45-8. TB, 36", ML. Standards are light lavender, smoky with tan-gold hafts. Falls are smoky light steel violet-blue edged same as standards. Beard is yellow-gold. Well rounded, semi-flaring falls and closed standards. Sturdy, well-branched stalks. Excellent substance; weather resistant. Fertile both ways. Flower arrangers like this one. (Grand Coulee X Galilee). $25.00. Twin Gates Iris Gardens.
