'Mexicali' ( Keith Keppel, R. 1969). Seedling #63-24L. BB, 26" (66 cm), Early midseason bloom. Color Class-Y4W-2R, Standards mimosa yellow (M&P l0-J-2), paler toward midrib; falls white, blended straw (10-F-2); plicata markings on haft, mahogany red (near 8-L-3); lighter sanded plicata pattern on falls edge; yellow beard. Seedling #61-28A: ( 'Taholah' x seedling #59-4B ( 'Progenitor' x 'Royal Band')) X 'My Honeycomb'. Keppel 1970.
