Mid-America Nursery

Founded in 1980 by Paul Black in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, it subsequently moved to outside Portland, Oregon and Tom Johnson joined as a partner. It has been responsible for the introduction of many award winning Irises, especially miniature dwarfs, standard dwarfs and tall bearded. It continues today (2015) under the ownership of Tom Johnson, and introduces for Johnson and Black.
