Ultra See below: [DB-sic] - The bluest iris I know. It is a hybrid of pumila strain. Comes with two or three blooms to a stem, and is a real gem. Honorable Mention '26. J. Sass 1926. "Ultra: An Intermediate and fall bloomer that show be divided often and have the soil renewed yearly to get the best fall results. It is a bright blue bicolor of very heavy substance with horizontal falls. The foliage is too tall for the flower stalks, but this is hardly noticeable so fine is the quality of the flowers.
