'Beni Tsubaki' (Shuichi Hirao by Society for Japanese Irises, R. 1993) JI (6 F.), 27" (70 cm), Midseason bloom. Rose violet deepening toward center, white pencil veining, yellow signal; style arms white. Parentage unknown. Hirao 1970.
