From Melrose Gardens catalog, 1965: GEISHA GOWN (Fred Mattocks) 36" double. Provocatively posed for our inspection are these large clean white flowers, distinctly etched with widely spaced deep rose purple penciling, which coalesces into a narrow margin of the same color around the bright yellow signal. All six broad and fluted petals are edged in silver. Style arms and petaloid stamens are bright purple; style crest picoteed white. $10.00
